About

Built to make curriculum navigation easier for Texas educators.

The planning problem

Texas math educators plan from the TEKS, but curriculum materials are organized by modules, scopes, and lessons. Connecting the two often means opening several documents and cross-checking them by hand — time that could go toward preparing instruction.

Why TEKS Navigator exists

TEKS Navigator brings published TEKS-to-curriculum references into one searchable place, so a teacher or coach can start with a standard and quickly see where it’s documented across supported programs.

Our mission

Help Texas math educators locate curriculum references quickly and plan purposeful instruction — with information they can evaluate and trust.

Our commitment to transparent references

  • References come from published alignment documents and keep their sources.
  • We never invent or AI-generate curriculum mappings.
  • Gaps and possible source errors are labeled, not hidden.
  • We’re independent: not affiliated with TEA or any publisher.

Where we’re headed

Next on the roadmap: more supported curriculum programs as published alignment sources become available, campus accounts for teams, and practical planning resources for teachers and coaches.

Principles

Designed around real instructional planning challenges.

TEKS Navigator is in early access. Rather than show placeholder praise, here are the principles every feature is held to. Educator feedback from pilots will appear here once it is shared with permission.

  • 01

    Start from the standard

Every workflow begins with a TEKS code or topic, because that is how planning conversations start.

  • 02

    Point to the curriculum

References link to the curriculum where available, so educators can open the original lesson.

  • 03

    Say what we don’t know

When no lesson is listed, we say so plainly instead of filling the gap with a guess.

  • 04

    Respect the curriculum

We point to your adopted materials — we don’t rewrite, replace, or reproduce them.

Spend less time searching. More time planning.
